Tom rode his 33rd winner of the season on Unanswered Prayers

at Cheltenham yesterday, a fine ride by Tom who has a 26% strike rate.

Trainer Chris Gordon moved onto winner no 21 for the season and currently

Last 14 days Wins 5 Runs 16 (31%) Tom has three rides today at Cheltenham.

12:35 TUDDENHAM GREEN - Has swing in the weights with Wetherby conqueror Medyaf; has others to worry about as well.

Owners - Simon Munir, Isaac Souede & Partners - Trainer - Alan King

Tuddenham Green in the JCB Triumph Trial Hurdle Trial, which kick-starts the Cheltenham programme.

“He was second in the Listed Wensleydale Hurdle at Wetherby last month, and it will be good to give him a third run over hurdles, so he can gain more experience before we put him away for a bit.”

2:55 ANNUAL INVICTUS - Not proven beyond 2m4f; judged on his best chase efforts, he has a good mark back hurdling.

Owner - Thomas Michael Smith - Trainer - Chris Gordon

This lad's chasing career started well in the autumn but took a disappointing turn with

cheek pieces in February/May when last seen. He is yet not proven over 2m4f but has

a good mark back hurdling if he's judged on his best chase efforts.

He is making his seasonal debut today so fingers crossed for a good run.

3:30 FOREVER WILLIAM - Has a recent creditable run under his belt and this step back up in trip is worth a go.

Owners - The Barbury Lions 6 - Trainer - Alan King

“Our other runner at Cheltenham is Forever William in the two and a half mile handicap hurdle. He made an encouraging return at Chepstow, his first run since last April.”

Though no match for previous winner Sonigino, Forever William was staying on well at the end, and Alan is convinced he will be suited by stepping up in trip here as he got outpaced at half-way at Chepstow.
