Edwardstone looking to bounce back at Cheltenham on Saturday

Tom moved onto Winner No 47 for the season at Doncaster

yesterday Will Sting for trainer Lucy Wadham.

Tom has three booked rides today at Cheltenham Trials Day.

1:20 EDWARDSTONE - Unseated rider in the Desert Orchid; powered home in the Tingle Creek the time before.

Owners - Robert Abrey, Ian Thurtle - Trainer - Alan King

Alan said:”Neither the switch from Ascot nor the fact that the race has been forced to be put back a week is an issue, and Edwardstone remains in top form at home.

“Energumene is a top-class two-mile chaser, and he will be just as hard to beat this week-end as he would have been last. However, I am focussed on my own horse and am just grateful that we have been granted a second crack at this race.

“Edwardstone is a horse who likes to be kept busy – he ran seven times last season and won five of them – and I am looking forward to taking on the champion.”

1:50 YOUR DARLING - Had plenty to spare at Ascot (2m5f) then didn't quite get home over 3m at Kempton.

Owner - Lord Vestey - Trainer - Ben Pauling

3:35 WAY OUT - Made fair start over hurdles when second at Taunton but in deeper waters here.

Owner - Syd Hosie - Trainer - Syd Hosie
