Forever William

Tom, just has the one ride today at Cheltenham for Trainer Alan King

Won hurdling debut at Newbury; third in Grade 1 at Chepstow but needs another step forward.

Trials Day at Cheltenham has been a lucky meeting for Alan in the past, and, though he might not be sending the same strength in depth on Saturday that he has in recent years, he rates Forever William Alan said:”Forever William ran a fine race to finish third in the Finale Junior Hurdle at Chepstow last month, so, hopefully, he will again be competitive in the Triumph Hurdle Trial. He has taken well to jumping and the Cheltenham hill won’t frighten him one little bit, so, while ultimately he might be one for the Fred Winter rather than the Triumph, it’s worth a crack here and in any event he needs a third run to qualify for the handicap.
