Kelso Rides

Tom, has two rides today at Kelso.

2:45 POTTERMAN - COMMENTS

Big-race winner last spring; returns from wind op with conditions in his favour; respected.

Trainer - Alan King - Owners - James & Jean Potter Ltd.

3:15 HASEEFAH - COMMENTS

Decent on Flat; hasn't kicked on from hurdle debut win but it's still early days.

Trainer - Alan King - Owners - Michael Rembaum & Michael Tuckey.

Alan King views - ”Haseefah has been getting stuck in the mud since she won so well on her jumping debut at Market Rasen, and she is ready to start back in the mares novice after a mid season break, so with the dry weather having improved the ground it’s worth sending her up.

“Good ground is also what Potterman wants, so he’ll have his first run since he had a wind operation in the Border Handicap Chase. The bet365 Gold Cup, which he was awarded in the stewards room last year, has always been his prime spring target, but Sandown is still four weeks away so the timing is right for this prep.”
