Newbury

Tom, has four rides today.

2:20 VAZIR - COMMENTS

Fourth of 12 at Doncaster (2m, good) and he looks capable of further improvement.

Owners - The Unlikely Lads.

Trainer Alan King - Views - Vazir in the juvenile hurdle. He was colty when he arrived from France and has taken time to get over being gelded.

“However, he ran a lot better at Doncaster and has since worked encouragingly at home, so I am looking for an improved run. He had good form in France and beat the Adonis Hurdle runner-up Teddy Blue when winning his maiden on the Flat at Deauville.”

3:30 GALWAY MAHLER - COMMENTS

Made the frame in Irish points in December but has tough standard to reach on rules debut.

Trainer John Best & Karen Jewell - Owners - Peter Oppenheimer & Mrs Linda Jewell.

4:05 WHO DARES WINS - COMMENTS

Latest third at Huntingdon showed he can be thereabouts given his reduced mark.

Owners - HP Racing Who Dares Wins.

Trainer Alan King - Views - “Who Dares Wins also runs here before switching back to the Flat. He showed a return to form when finishing third under a big weight at Huntingdon in January, and this more galloping course will suit him better.

5:05 PRESENTING A QUEEN - COMMENTS

Beaten favourite in an Irish point but the winner followed up in a bumper.

Trainer Chris Gordon - Views - This filly was beaten 12 lengths on her sole Irish Point

(3m, yielding to soft) when sent off favourite. The winner of that race has since won a

Fairyhouse bumper. She is making her British debut today having been declared a non

runner a Ascot last time as ground was too heavy.

Owners - Mr and Mrs Cheshire.
