Plumpton

Tom, has six rides today at Plumpton.

2:17 OCEANLINE - COMMENTS

His fifth in a strong Ascot handicap three weeks ago makes him the one to beat.

Trainer - Alan King - Owners - Million In Mind Partnership.

3:27 SAMI BEAR - COMMENTS

Nine-race maiden who was disappointing in a 2m handicap here last time; bit to prove again.

Trainer - Chris Gordon - Owners - Team Abc

This lad has had a couple of creditable efforts over 2m at this track during the winter

but he was laboured when well-held third of six in a handicap here (good to soft, got loose beforehand) last time. That makes him a 0-9 maiden so fingers crossed he can change that today.

4:02 ANNUAL INVICTUS - COMMENTS

Found 3m too far in a Grade 2 last time; this mark is high but not beyond him.

Trainer - Chris Gordon - Owner - Mr Tom Smith.

This lad was a useful hurdler who has had a good first season over fences, with his

only backward step was when pulling up at Aintree in December. He ran well in a

Grade 2 at Ascot to finish third in first time cheekpieces over 3m which he didn't quite get that day, step back in trip today with the cheekpieces on again.

4:37 PICCADILLY LILLY - COMMENTS

Needs to improve on her British form but still early days; stable going well.

Trainer - Alan King - Owners - Trull House Stud & R Whaley-Cohen.

5:12 BLADE RUNNER

COMMENTS

Didn't hang about over hurdles and made a successful chase debut over C&D; up 8lb.

Trainer - Chris Gordon - Owners - Mr Holman, Mr Widdows, Mr Banks & Mr Lloyd.

This lad was a winning pointer who didn't hang around over hurdles and made a successful chasing debut over C&D (good to soft) a month ago. He got a 8Ib rise for that win but that shouldn't affect him too much and retains the cheekpieces.

5:47 BLAME THE GAME - COMMENTS

On reduced mark but has plenty to prove and last win was 14 months ago.

Trainer - Chris Gordon - Owner - Redz Together.

Blame The Game won off 13Ib higher at Fontwell (2m 5f, good to soft) last February but

chasing proved to be a damp squib during the autumn/ winter and he's been well held

back over hurdles (3m1f/3m) the last twice. He now drops back to a class 5 event but needs to up his game, he wears the cheekpieces today.
