Warwick

12:20 VAZIR Lightly raced 1m4f winner in France and could be a useful recruit for Alan King.

Alan added:”Vazir is an ex-Aga Khan horse, who won on his final run for Alain de Royer-Dupre on the polytrack at Deauville in August. The form received a boost when the second and third both won next time out, and Vazir, who was gelded when he arrived, is ready to start.

12:50 NOBBY Beaten at odds-on the last twice but his Newbury third makes for good reading. Trainer Alan King.

Alan said:”Nobby won two bumpers and then had a year off, but he came back well last season, being placed in all his three runs over hurdles.

“He was a bit disappointing in the last one, at Southwell, but it was the end of May and he had probably gone over the top by then. He’s had a good break and is ready to start back.

1:25 JABOTICABA He finished well behind on his return to hurdling at Plumpton.

2:00 THE GLANCING QUEEN Classy in bumpers and over hurdles; had no bother winning on her chasing debut, for trainer Alan King. The Glancing Queen, who runs in the Listed mares novice chase at Warwick.

Alan said:”We were really pleased with The Glancing Queen when she made a winning debut over fences at Bangor, especially as the two mile trip would have been sharp enough. She was a joy to watch and her jumping was super.

“She ought to be even more effective over this two and a half, and, looking ahead, the ultimate target is the mares chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March.”

2:20 ONLY MONEY May have been flattered to win so well at Huntingdon as he struggled next time. Trainer Chris Gordon.

3:00 JERMINNIE GREEN Won at Chepstow with a bit up her sleeve and much respected off 5lb higher. Trainer Alan King.

Jerminnie Green in the three-mile handicap chase. Alan said:”She came good there in a mares handicap chase, which was very pleasing as she was so disappointing over hurdles last season.

“She schooled well over fences and jumped really well at Chepstow, so I hope she’ll win more races at the right level, especially as she is the first horse that Ian Wheeler has had a share in.”

3:30 DANCE WITH FIRE Well-related gelding who should stay well when sent over jumps.
